**** to me, costing me a lot of money.
I had a medical procedure done and asked discovery medical aid if they covered the doctors fees. They assured me it was covered in full and their words were \you dont have anything to worry about"<br> Now almost a year later a lawyer company contacted to inform me that I have outstanding fees"

Procedures done in hospital are subject to authorization and will be covered as per your chosen plan type. If you use providers that we have an agreement with in accordance to your plan, we will cover these providers in full from the Hospital Benefit provided that they charge the agreed amount and perform an approved procedure.
In the case where a consultation is done out of hospital prior to the hospital admission, these accounts will pay from your available day to day benefits.
