Large price discrepancy

Recently I wanted to buy a medicinal item from one of the major dispensers, and to my amazement discovered that if I wanted to buy the item through my Discovery account I would pay 25% more than if I bought it in my personal capacity from the pharmacy. Something seems puzzling about this arrangement, and I was wondering if you could supply your members with an explanation, please? Many thanks.
