Lack of communication and false and advertising from Discovery Health

<p>Disgusted doesn't even begin to describe how I feel about Discovery Health Medical Aid right now. Yesterday when debit orders were going through, I was shocked by the debit made by Discovery, It was double for my 6 weeks old baby that hasnt even claimed any benefits. I called them this morning and complained and they told me that I'm billed in advance yet none of this was communicated on the letter they sent on the 1st June 2016. Instead of R2662 they have deducted R3126 from my bank account. I'm on a 50% paid maternity leave, I can not afford to be charged extra for expenses that I had no knowledge of . The least discovery could have done is communicate this with me and not put the R2662 and yet bill me R3126. On top of that they say the first month for the baby is free yet they have already charged me twice and they are saying the month of May is free...I call this false advertising.</p>
