Keycare plus plan a ****

My husband was admitted at Glynwood life hospital with a bleeding stomach on 1/2/2020. The specialist Dr T Mohammed wanted to do a G-scope to determine the origin of the bleed but this was declined by Keycare. Discovery told the hospital this can only be done at a day hospital. The doctor were concerned because he had a heart attack in June last year and preferred it be done in hospital seeing this can be a risk. He discharged him with a letter to Dr Swart who can do the procedure at Birchmed day hospital. The first opening to do this is the 12th which is already 11 days after the bleed started. When I phoned for a pre-auth code I was told by Discovery's operator JP Adams it is again declined and can only be done in the doctor's consultation room. He did not even refer it to someone seeing that there is risk involved. Just asked me to email for revision. I would like to refer you to P8 of the Keycare plan guide that clearly states that a gastroscopy is covered in a day surgery. And I Quote "You have cover for a defined list of procedures in our day surgery network We cover the following procedures in our day surgery network " Gastrointestinal Gastrointestinal scopes* (oesophagoscopy, gastroscopy, etc...." Can someone please explain to me where we missed what? Trust me, if any further complications come from this stupid delay, we will hold you responsible.
