KeyCare Maternity Benefit a joke!

I decided to have a look at the queries here on hello peter and it looks like im, not the only person that is having a problem with discoveries keycare maternity benefits. I have been paying over 2k a month for medical aid and I have used the maternity benefit 5 years ago. I am now using it again as my wife just fell pregnant and it's such a nightmare to find a gynae that is covered by keycare in my area. which is what my previous review was about. I got calls from discovery to assist me, you will think yay I'm going to be sorted out now, but no, the gynae I was referred to states that he is covered with keycare, full cover. I call the doctor and make an appointment and I find out that he charges 2250 for the first consult, now I started to get the rn around from discovery telling me I need to get a quote from the doc to see what he is charging etc. the doctors office states that they charge 2250 and that's it. I call discovery again and put my details again and get through to somebody who eventually calls the doctor whilst I was on hold, did i mention that the previous call same thing happened but the agent put the phone down and didn't call me back, anyway, he gets back to me to inform me that the doc charges 200%, so from the 2250 I will only be able to claim back half of 2250 which is 1125. firstly, because I pay over 2k a month for medical aid, I don't have 2250 cash to outlay for a visit. how is it that I get 12 visits to a so-called fully covered doc but I still have to pay up front and get back half of what the doctor ordered.

if I had saved all the money I paid into medial aid over the years I would definitely be able to pay for all these visits and for all my previous visits and still have about R100 000 leftover. where is the justification in this? why is it so difficult to get a doctor that is covered and doesn't even have to fully covered, even if I had to pay like 2 or 3 hundred rands that would be ok. but over a thousand rand for a service I'm supposed to be covered for? that's ridiculous.
