Keep changing what they cover

Such a waste of money. Every year I keep seeing they cover less for me, the price goes up and I get less from them. My wife needed to be admitted to hospital and the discovery case manager would not do the authorisation. Now I find out a GP can't admit you according to discovery. What's the point of going to hospital if discovery wants you to pay for all the tests, and see specialists before going to hospital, isn't that the pint of going to hospital in the 1st place. My family has always been admitted 1st so specialist's can do tests and scans, and find out what the problem is. And then to have a case manager hang up in your ear is s#&t service. I will be cancelling discovery at the end of the year and give my 11k pm to someone that actually wants to help their clients.!!

I find out this year also they don't cover my GP anymore because they decided to keep making different groups of doctors that they will cover and they make it so frustrating for the doctors that none of them want to deal with discovery anymore.

Typical that Discovery cannot respond quickly. My wife is still in pain as they would not admit her, she went back to her GP and he informed her that the same happened to another one of his patients just after my wife at the same hospital, and that patient ended up having a heart attack in the reception and is lying in ICU now. That case worker in Spring Parklands is really and idiot and does not deserve her job!!
