Is this service?

<p>I hurt my shoulder a few days ago and over the weekend the pain became unbearable. My nominated GP is on leave and I could not get an appointment with the secondary GP. I opted to go to Garden City Clinic emergency. After the x-rays and sonar he referred me to a specialist on the network list. He gave me a referral letter and I went back to the office and phoned the Discovery call centre. There I was told that I need to go to one of my nominated doctors and get one of them to make another referral on their app. After having to explain myself AGAIN to the person at the call centre, I was told that I have to go back to the hospital and get the emergency room doctor to phone Discover's call centre and get an authorization for me. What the! First of all there is no ways that I am going to sit and wait another hour for him again, secondly there is no way that he is going to leave the 20 odd pasients in the waiting area to phone discovery to get an authorization number for me. I really need to have this shoulder attended to by a specialist, so would somebody at Discovery please assist.</p>
