Is Discovery Health *********** its chronic medicine members?

Whenever phoning Discovery Health to for instance place an order for a new supply of chronic medication it takes on average 10 to 12 minutes to complete the transaction. This in spite of keying in one's details at the start of the conversation AND being registered with them on their website. The Discovery contact number is a high cost per minute 086 number. This is inefficient and not high quality service. In addition, when asking for a generic version of one's approved medication to save costs one is invariably told that the generic and less costly version is not in stock at the pharmacy company that Discovery uses. Yet it can be supp**** by other pharmacy companies which Discovery will not use BUT AT A 20% ADDITIONAL COST TO THE MEMBER. Draw your own conclusions.....
