Incorrect Billing
My discovery medical aid was paid by my company, i got retrenched at around month end (eg.June) and my company had already paid for the following month (eg.July). I transferred the payment details when i got retrenched to my name but cancelled the medical aid before the end of the following month(eg.July). I don't understand why my account is being debited of R1448.00. I have reversed this debit order more then 3 times and send emails to Discovery inquiring about the matter but no on has bothered to contact me. I am again going to reverse this order, which is charging me R20 each time i do so. I do not like paying for something i do not know and dont believe i should pay. <br>

I investigated your query and confirmed that we removed you off your previous employer effective 31/07/2014 and transferred the membership onto private capacity for the month of August 2014. We billed your premiums in arrears and the debit we have requested was the premium for August 2014. I have discussed the details of the debit and also how we have proceeded with the request.
