INCOMPOTENT/UNPROFESSIONAL/INSUFFICIENT
On Friday the 15th April i submitted a claim for consultation at a specialist. I submitted the Invoice of the specialist along with my proof of payment and a copy of my bank statement. On the 19th I saw that Discovery have only approved R513.60 of the claim for R1600 which I had no choice to accept but what freaken amazes me is the fact that they state on my discovery profile i will be paid R513.60 yet they only paid me R220.58 so seriously Discovery wheres my R293.02? How do you state R513.60 will be paid to me than i get paid R220.58- how does this work? Or did the person who made the payment pocketed the money? You guys are very fast to demand your monthly premiums, yet you pay like this. Is the people doing payments incompotent or what. <br> <br> I want an explanation as to how come my claim is approved on R513.60 yet i get paid R220.58? Or is it just Discovery's general practice to ***** R293.02 from a client(s)? Does Discovery do this on a daily basis - *****ing from clients? Cause this is what you guys are doing - dont tell me an error have been made thats ****-stop using that excuse- TAKE RESPONSIBILTY!<br> <br> Discovery can i get back my money(R293.02) that legally belongs to me?

As discussed, the payment that you had received was not for your specialist claim. The amount of R 513.60 was released for payment 20/04/2016 which is when the email was sent to you confirming the amount that we will pay for the claim. The payment was made on 21/04/2016 into your account.
