*********** work ethic
I am appualed with the level of service received from discovery. When I took up the service, I questioned if there would be any waiting periods or issues if I needed to be hospitalised, I was informed that there wouldn't be. While waiting at the hospital I find out that the authorisation would take approximately 3 days. This was not disclosed to me when I asked for information. Responses I get, \ this procedure is not life threatening\", I wander what would b life threatening for them. Now after going out of my way to get them the information, I still get told that I need to wait. Who is going to compensate for time lost from work. Who is going to compensate for additional visits to the doctor. Yes they are within their so called turn around time but what about me who is suffer the consequences? As a health care provider you really give a **** about people I service. For you, we are just stats. I am yet to speak to one person who would actually go out of there way to help. I thought changing to discovery was a good choice as they are a good service provider. Your client relations managers are a cheap excuse for customer services. When the kitchen gets to hot, they decide to get out "
