I've recently posted a review about *********** staff of CLICKS PHARMACY, WAVERLEY PLAZA as well as Discovery Health. I've submitted a prescriptuon for Opioids to Discovery Health. 6days ago I've posted about the turnaround time of 2-3 days for approval. Due to Discovery' failure to process my prescription, my prescription. Has lapsed. I had to go to the dr to obtain a new prescription. I've sent the new prescription the very same day to Discovery. I've made enquries the next day, thursday. I've been advised that they are awaiting "a nappy code" for the prescribed medication. I've told them that I've been using this medication for 5 years now - look on my claims and they will find the nappy code. On friday morning, I've received an amail from P Govender, one of the managers, advising that the prescription is not clear - REALLY? The 2-3 days has become 12 days now! It is just lies, lies and more lies and excuses, more and more excuses! The subscriptions are not cheap, but if this is the kind of service they deliver, they have to amend their fees charged. I've read a note on the Discovery Health website about me "... feared complaint... not professionably diagnosed." I have news for you, my dr knows what is Fibromyalgia, while you only cover chronic pain! It is not a joke to pass out from pain, it's hell! Some patients may overdose on these meds but I surely don't! I walk with crutches permanently and when I leave the house, I am using a wheelchair. I can't drive anymore, I need a knee replacement but my dr has advised me that my body will reject the prosthesis. This is serious and if they can't do their part, I will sure ly find another medical aid who can deliver!
