*********** people dealing with claims

I am 22 weeks pregnant and have activated the maternity benefit beginning of August. I have called the call centre as well as have gone to Discovery in Sandton for a few problems with claims and up until now, it still is messed up and not sorted out.

I had a miscarriage in February 2018 and deactivated the maternity benefit but when I activated with this pregnancy, it shows that I have had 7 blood tests done already, yet I have not claimed for any pathology tests done this year, I NEED TO GO FOR BLOOD Tests ASAP, but I can't until this is cleared, I will NOT fork out money for something that I don't need to do so!

I went to see a midwife at Genesis Maternity Clinic on the 30 October 2019 and when I submitted the claim, Discovery took it as an antenatal class and not an antenatal consultation. The procedure code for an antenatal consultation is 88420 with ICD code being Z34.9 and all patients get the same codes and do not have a problem. I had to resubmit the claim because of a mistake made on the date and had to drive up and down to Genesis to have this done. Money was taken off from the antenatal class limit of R837 twice now and antenatal consultations with a nurse also twice, YET, I was only seen ONCE by a midwife.

I am fed up trying to sort this whole mess up out and at my expense all the time! People working at Discovery is ***********!
