In Hospital Medication had to be paid by member due to not having a dispensing pharmacy

Hi, my daughter was admitted to a day clinic which is on ure approved lists, the day clinic does not have a pharmacy and now I had to pay for the take home medication myself as I had to get this from Dischem. This is not acceptable because Discovery nominate these clinics knowing that they don't have a dispensary and forcing the member to pay the medicine our of their own pocket. The doctor is contracted in with Discovery in-hospital, yet it does not allow you to claim it from your savings either. Very conveniently the member must now pay for their own medication. Totally unacceptable!. If u can pay for take home medicine when going to a clinic or hospital where there is a dispensing pharmacy you should pay this for day clinics / hospitale that does not have one, it is unfair treatment towards members, as certain members would be able to get medicine depending on which hospital or day clinic facility they use. All in-hospital cases should be treated equal, fair and in the same manner. Please resolve this matter asap. Thx
