In-Hospital claim not fully payed (TERRIBLE Service continues)

This is my second review for Discovery Health.

Find the first one here:

https://www.hellopeter.com/discovery-health/reviews/terrible-service-2 ********** 528

I've had an in-hospital claim that was not fully payed.

I did send a query via email to Customer Service, and as usual running around in circles and customer services sending responses back that do not assist you in any way.

The first response I received back from customer services:

Kindly note that you are indeed covered for 200% of the Discovery Health Rate with In-hospitals specialists. Please note that this claim was not billed by a specialist, but a General Practitioner.
This is the reason it was short-paid up according to 100% of the Discovery Health Rate.

My health plan being Classic Saver states 200% in-hospital cover for the following:

Specialists we don’t have a payment arrangement with AND OTHER HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS

Why wasn't my claim payed in full then...??

I did send my query to Heelan Nana (Escalation Customer Relationship Manager) as well - no response as yet.

Reviewer Update

Receieved the following form Discover on the 18th of April:

"We can confirm an inquiry was opened up on reference number 505224*** and we have been advised by our System Support department, that the amount paid is due to a system issue and there is fix that will be put through to correct the rates issue, once this has been done we will be able to send the claim for reprocessing."

Yet, till date this issue that's been sent to Discovery on the 6th of April hasn't been resolved...!!
