Impossible to submit claim via app or website
Discovery suck. They make it firstly impossible to submit claims, but they also don't pay in full when there is MORE than enough money in my MSA.
The claim submission process gives errors. I tried multiple times, no success. I had to send the claim via email. Their APP is useless, so is their website. I have the error saved in a file, IF they are even interested in solving the issue permanently.
I also STILL, after 3 years, cannot search the status of a claim via the CLAIM NUMBER to see if they are busy with it, rejected it of not interested in processing it.

30 Mar 2026, 13:45I explained to the person who phoned that I was not able to use the app or website to upload claims. I then had to email it. 2 our of the 3 options not working. He said that he will escalate.
I also explained that I've been asking for a way of searching on the claim number or reference number received when submitting claims so that I can see per claim what the status is. This is how a proper self-service application/website works. If Discovery think that it is effective for members to spend money to phone in and speak to an agent to find out, then it is a problem. 1) it costs us money and 2) the agent could have helped other members with other issues/queries.
As much as I hope that Discovery will solve this, as much do I know that these 2 issues will not be solved. It's been the same for the last 3 years, as in claim submission issues and not being able to properly search claims.
