I joined Discovery medical aid as they are well known and the premium is affordable..I was told that because I'm going from one medical aid to another with no break the waiting period will fall away when I produced the medical certificate from the old medical aid which I did ..well that didn't happen ..and know I'm told because I'm on chronic medication for my cholesterol there is a waiting period of 3 months..this is rediculious what person at 53 is not on some sort of medication...if they go back to the recordings they will hear there agents saying waiting period will fall away...I have emailed numerous people and no one gets back to me. Like they phoned me everyday to sign up.. once signed up I'm forgotten..
