How do you guys assess claims

I seem to be getting worse and worse service from discovery and I feel trapped because I can't even get my own medical aid as it's a company benefit. I submitted a claim for my glssses, over R900, got an assessment - R22 not paid. I mean how does R900 translate to R22? No explanation. nothing
