How difficult can this be?

I am seriously getting frustrated with the claim, and will be taking further steps.

In October I send in a quarry alone, not a claim for Dr Muire, and was advised what will be paid out of Medical savings and what will be paid out of Hospital account>WRefNo#***#- -MailRef#***# This was NOT a claim. I was adviced that some of the procedures will be paid IN hospital. I have everything on email from Discovery.

So on 15 November I had the procedure done IN HOSPITAL, and now discovery is stuck on the quote I send in, and not paying the actual in hospital treatment for Dr Muire for 15 November 2019. I also send an email to ***. I got a reply back Your claim is in process, please allow 2-3 working days for your claim to be captured. Your reference number is ***, and the details of these claims will reflect on your next claims statement or notification.

So nothing came of it, and I send an quarry to Discovery Your reference number ***, and got a reply: Treatment date Amount claimed Amount paid Paid to Reason code Claim reference 28.10.2019 – 15/11/2019 R 15158.00 R 0.00 - 274 7OQsGp Reason code 274: We have not paid the amount claimed because the funds in your Medical Savings Account are used up. I have sent the above claim to our claims specialists so that they can reprocess the service date 15.11.2019 to show the place of service as In-Hospital. Please allow 2 – 3 working days for our claims department to reprocess the claim. Once done, I will provide you with the feedback. Should you wish to follow-up on your query, the reference is: ***

I don't see why this is such a problem. Can this please be looked at and fixed asap. I know only some procedure codes for this claim will be paid for in hospital like codes: 8140, 8213,9183,8767 and 8107, as I was advised in October.

This is really getting frustrating.
