Hours of precious time spent on trying to get my money back

My son broke his arm and had surgery at Mediclinic.

Mediclinic billed us for an armsling, which was paid from the MSA, but the hospital never issued an arm sling. I

I followed up with the hospital's accounts department, who was extremely helpful and efficient and after 2 days confirmed that they made an error and they would request the reversal.

This was several weeks ago. The accounts manager has now followed up several times with Discovery about the reversal that hasn't been processed with no success. I have been chasing her the whole time but now feel sorry for hospital staff who are also subjected to the terrible service of Discovery Health claims department. I suspect that if the money was paid from the scheme they would have been quick to get "their" money back straight away, but now that it is my MSA money they are extremely laizzes faire.

Thankful for the "executive office" that sorted this out. Just angry that "normal" claims people cannot do their jobs even after several follow-ups.
