Hospitalisation Authorisation Nightmare

I was hospitalised for a period of 2 nights. However, authorisation was passed for 1 night. This means the 2nd day was deducted from my MSA. I contact Discovery Health last week Thursday (6 July) on this matter and was assured that an update will be done within 8-16 working hours. I was advised to check on my MSA after midday 10th July. When I checked, this was not done yet. I called in and was told they have a backlog, therefore it will take 5 working days to update my authorisation to 2 days. Nothing on the accounting part as yet. Discovery clearly does not care for its people if resolution is not a priority. How does a turnaround turn change from 8-16 hours to 5 days? What happens now that my MSA is R0,00 and I cannot visit any doctor yet my funds were incorrectly deducted?

Reviewer Update
Discovery reached out to me and prioritised my query. I can now say actions have been closed under the 5 working days.
