Hospital admission - Unpaid claims

My wife was recently admitted for an emergency C-section for the deliverance of our twin babies due some complications. She was Authorised and we were initially advised that babies would be covered under my wife's authorisation whilst in hospital. Checked a number of times with different agents.

We did encounter a fault where a number of my wife's and baby's procedures were unpaid. Which created a more stressful situation on top of what we were already experiencing, which included the loss of one of our twins. It was by no means a trivial amount and it was not expected after being a long term client of discovery.

After a number of chats . The agents which I dealt with went he extra mile to ensure that the claims were re-submitted and escalated for reassessment.

It turned out top be due to a number of administrative errors on the submitted claims by the service providers.

The discovery advisors ensured to follow up with me directly thought-out the dispute. Which ended in a positive outcome.

I would like to extend my thanks to those Discovery agents whom assisted us throughout. Namely Timothy and his colleague who he escalated my call to.

4 stars based on the amount of follow up I needed to do via the channels.
