Horrified with Discovery Health

I would rate Discovery a 0 ! I was horrified to learn the drastic change in funding for medication for which there is NO generic equivalent and which is not on the preferred medication list. I am on an Executive plan paying in excess of 15 thousand rand a month for medical aid, only to be told Discovery will pay 50% of the discovery health rate as the medication is not on the preferred list. I spoke to Tammy at the call centre who did not grasp what i was saying at all and then told me she has no access to email and is only an in bound agent, maybe the COVID pandemic affected Discovery's ability to email....Perhaps the actuaries need to rethink the rules around the funding for the executive option especially where there is no generic equivalent.
