Horrific experience

I called discovery to downgrade my medical aid due to finances. I was told that I cannot downgrade, I really don't understand what the logic behind that is. Why should I be told which plans to downgrade to or not. So I told the consultant that I want to change to another medical aid then. Now I am at the doctor I am told, I cannot use my medical aid since I am withdrawing from discovery. What madness is this really? What am I paying for ? Discovery is forcing me to move to another medical aid. What on earth is this guys? We understand you have the whole pie but you don't treat people this way. I've been sent from post to pillar.
