Horrific!!!!

Wow!!!! This made me even more worried scrolling upon all the horrible reviews!! Are you going to let down all your members during the Covid19 pandemic as well??

Firstly, I would like to have an explanation on the below :

1) In January 2020, I gave birth to my daughter. About 2 weeks back, I get a phone call from your ''Debt Administration'' department with regard to an ''outstanding amount'' that I owe Discovery, because YOU apparently, by accident made a payment to my account - the words of the consultant. This is so rediculous, I paid all my co-payments in due course and now I get this to my BIGGEST surprise!! What do you expect I do as a mother, on maternity leave, not receiving any form of income?????

2) My parents had to pay a HUGE penalty fee prior to joining Discovery Medical aid.. And this for not having Medical Aid for a period in the 1990's, yet the late-joiner penalties may be app**** after the age of 35 but do not apply to members or dependants who belonged to a scheme prior to April 1 2001 and who have not had a break in cover of more than three months since this date.

Explanations needed!!!!!!!!!!!!
