Hidden clauses makes you worst medical aid

<p>I have been a Discovery member for a few years and after being retrenched decided to remain on Discovey Health but at a lower plan to assist hospital fees if needed especially in an emergency as my son plays rugby and i have hypertension. Firstly Discovery was adamant that I was to pay a penalty of R250 per month for 12 months. My plan states dental treatment at prescribed Dr which I did and states covers tooth extraction but to my surprise they don't cover that neither. Now to crown it all thinking I have 100% hospital cover at least my sons operation will not be covered as its not a prescribed condition even though he has serious pain playing rugby and getting trampped on his leg with veins protruding. Well Discovery you have proved to be the worst medical iad and I will look elsewhere without paying a penalty! !!</p>
