Helpless and insulted

I would like to give zero rating but that is not an option. I've been with Discovery for many years and I also have life cover with them. I was retrenched in October 2018 and my previous company withdrew at the end of October. I've been trying to join my wife's medical aid but Discovery is implying that I am devious and don't believe that I was retrenched. They don't believe that my previous company contributed towards my medical aid. I've sent proof through a broker but they are not accepting the proof and insinuating I'm a ********. I've followed two steps in their complaint procedure and the turnaround time is 24 hours but it's been days now and no response. I've just call the discovery line ********** 877 and the person assisting me ended the phone call. What should I do next. I've just received a call back that they will not allow me to join my wife's medical aid because of voluntary retrenchment. They believe I volunteered for retrenchment to cheat Discovery. They would rather have me not covered because apparently I'm a *****

I've been waiting for a reply on both my complaints for days now so I don't expect a miracle. I've had to reactivate my medical aid in private capacity so that I am covered and it's costing me a fortune as I HAVE BEEN RETRENCHED (VOLUNTARY) and you won't accept that because I'm a *****. And this treatment after all the years I've been with Discovery. Why would I de***** you

Reviewer Update
So I thanked Discovery for the last call I received last week sometime. I was promised that management were ontop of this and it would be resolved speedily. Guess what, no response since then. I had to continue with my medical aid in private capacity so that I could have the procedure done. It was a serious procedure and thank God I did not listen to Discovery and postpone it till 2019 which is when they would allow me to become a dependent on my wife's medical aid. They would not allow it this year because I would benefit of a R300 discount on a deductible. I am accused of possibly volunteering for retrenchment to benefit from lower premiums and deductibles on my wife's medical aid. Yes I gave up my job to save a couple of RANDS I kid you not. If that's not enough, I submitted my retrenchment contract and salary slip as proof of retrenchment and company contribution. They don't believe these documents so I have been instructed to obtain a formal letter from my previous company to state that I was indeed retrenched and what their contribution was. Apparently there is a discrepancy of a couple of Rands. Most probably my vitality contribution but I am not sure. So even more insult. Where does this end. I'm busy covering my full premium while Discovery is investigating this matter like I am a total *****.
