Happy to take my money, but ignores claims

I've had a nightmare with Discovery Health since changing employers. Due to "administrative errors", my membership was terminated without my knowledge and my wife had a neurologist appointment scheduled months in advance during this period. So obviously all claims were rejected and I had to jump through flaming hoops to have it reactivated and backdated to cover that time, resulting in a new membership number. I submitted all claims once this was done. The claims are from March and we are now in May. I received refernce numbers for all claims submissions with no further responses. After many (ignored) email queries, I finally called the call centre and was told I need to get new statements from the Drs involved reflecting the new membership number!!!??? It took 3 months and a 26 minute phone call to discover something they could have told me after the first claim submission. This poor service has me re-thinking my 8 year association with Discovery Health. They are certainly not cheap and if customer satisfaction means so little, I would be better served taking my business elsewhere.
