handed over for what

I am so confuse about being handed over for an account because I canceled my medical aid because I resigned from my employer who paid the account on my behalf.

Also I was never made aware that I need to pay additional fee if my savings are up yet lawyers are phoning me.

When I made contact with Discovery, it was said you guys tried contacting me but only had the employer cellphone number and email address that is very strange.

My wife's information never changed and she was the one that was mostly in contact with you guys.

Why does it seems as if you guys are searching for money how and low to make some kind of target and is now grasping at straws.
