GP Specialist authorization that i am not getting and i don't know why its taking so long, i can not live on pain ****ers.

I am out of words and energy with Discovery. I went to the ER on the 24 because of pain that even I couldn’t take anymore. I was sent to do test and x-ray/ultrasound, in they did see why I had the pain but I need to see a specialist to verify how dad The issues were. As I am on key care plus, I needed a GP Specialist farm which the GP filled it up for me and I emailed it to Discovery on the 25/10/2019. I got a script for pain meds to help me with the pain while I wait for discovery to give me a authorization To see a gynaecologist.

After emailing the form, I called discovery to find out if they got it and what else did they need from me. They told me that they only got 1 page And it had to be 2 pages, so I emailed 4 page in less than 30min from the first email. I got 2 ref numbers showing that they received both of them.

Long story short. It’s the 31/10/2019 and No authorization. They keep telling me 36hur or call again tomorrow if you didn’t get the sms or email. My pain meds are finished, I am still in pain. I am over it hey. If I wasn’t in soo much pain I would give up on then or if I had the money right now I would just See a gynaecologist get myself back in good health and cancel discovery and look for a better medical aid.

I am so disappointed and out of energy with discovery. I even wish whatever is wrong with me would just go away so that I don’t even have to worry about it anymore. Or just going to a government hospital at this paint. What am I paying medical aid for if it does want to help me when I need it the most to work for me the most .
