GAP Cover Proposal - Innapropriate Taking Advandage of Customers

I recently app**** for Discovery Health GAP cover. I January i had a medical investigation on a sore finger which came up as clear from the specialist and pathologist. I disclosed this in my application as Discovery warns that anything not disclosed could be cause for repudiating a claim. Discovery then asked me to sign a waiver on all orthopedic claims for 1 year. This is ridiculous as my finger is fine and because of a sore finger, there is now no cover if anything goes wrong with any other bone or joint in my body. My broker has tried several times to raise this with Discovery as unreasonable and his response to me is that Discovery has got so big that it can no longer can offer a professional service. the people managing the underwriting are bound by rules and their ability to apply the rules appropriately has become poor taking away any sense of innovation other than the marketing fanfare. I am not so sure if this is the case, or if Discovery is just trying to take advantage of its customers. There are many other GAP products in the market! Either way, to date we have not been heard and been treated reasonably by Discovery on this issue, so hopefully by raising this with HelloPeter, we will be heard and our case considered
