Gap cover promo not honoured - Should you Trust Discovery ?

I was contacted telephonically by a sales agent for Gap Cover in November 2023 who offered me 2 promotions to sign up to Discovery Gap Cover by year end.

I did so and the 3 month initial premium free promo was upheld, however the 2nd promo (Gap Cover Lower Essential Premium Campaign,) of a reduced premium if I was a an existing Essential hospital plan member, has not been honoured.

Even though I was told and have the promo pdf, which states in writing that the premium would only be reviewed in January 2025, they subsequently raised the premium in January 2024 to normal rates, therefore I received no "promotional benefit" and was basically **** to in order to sell a product.

I have been commutating my case for the past 4 months directly to Gap Cover department and through Gap Cover escalations department - that a lower premium was never received. But to no avail, as they are ultimately dragging their feet to respond and thereby ignoring their promotional promise.
