GAP COVER

Just today i organised pre authorization to which they tell me there will be deductibles. So i got hold of the people from gap cover and they tell me i have a 1 year waiting period from which i am unaware off and my policy document doesn't say i have a 1 year waiting period. but clearly states my son does. In all the years i have been with Discovery this is the first procedure i am going in for and they wont cover the deductibles with my gap cover. As if they want me to postpone my procedure a month and a half so the 1 year waiting period is over.

The gap cover should be immediate considering i have had a medical aid with them for a few years, from which they can clearly see how often i use it.

I am disgusted with the fact that they take your money for a year before you can use the benefits
