Gap Cover

In June 2018 I added Gap cover from Discovery as I already had a medical cover with them. on 31 May 2019 Our child was born and due to some extra expenses which the medical plan didn't cover, I refer it to Gap Cover.

I was informed that Gap Cover will not pay the extra costs as my 12 month waiting period was not over yet. I was never informed about waiting time and exclusions. When I spoke to a consultant, the person said I need to refer to my policy documents (which I never received).

The worst serves seeing the amount of money I have paid them.
