Furious !!!
Yesterday I waited 5 hours in the cold to go to SARS so I can claim from my medical aid tax. <br> <br> Once I finally got assisted the lady said I do not get anything back .... Then I was like hold on there must be something wrong and she said no on the system discovery says you do not qualify.<br> <br> How do I not qualify when everyone I work with all on the same package got paid but wait I pay more as I have my daughters on the scheme and we have 1/4 times to the doc then other people have so please explain to me how they get and i don't. If not I am changing my medical aid. <br> <br> Owe would be nice if you guys reply to your email I have sent emails al the time to you guys and no reply every time

Please be advised that the Scheme has no influence over SARS in regard to whether or not you qualify for a tax return. We only supply a Medical Aid Tax Certificate in order for member's to claim the portion not funded by the Scheme, if they qualify for this.
May I suggest that you either take this up with your HR or seek the assistance from a Tax Consultant?
