Frustration...YET AGAIN!

my mum has been put on the highest price band for key care plus whihc is roughly R800 more due to the income verification not being done, i have spent in excess of R300 on airtime trying to sort out this issue with discovery, mum is unemployed and we had to pay into her account for them to allow her to even get a bank statement due to her being in arears with her banking fees, we have sent through all relevant documents including an affidavit confirming her unemployment.
discovery now takes her deposits that she has made to get her statements as a form of INCOME and places her on another income bracket premium. 2 consultants has taken the issue out but to no avail. the 6 months of over paying has still not been refunded.

I AM NO LONGER WASTING MY MONEY ON WAITING 20MINUTES EACH TIME TO GET THROUGH TO SOMEONE, GET A PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER OR MANAGER TO CALL ME TO RECTIFY PLEASE!

Hello Riclk,

Thank you for your comment.

We confirmed our KeyCare Team has investigated your concerns and confirmed to assist you further they require additional information. Once this information is received they will be able to review the income band and provide you with feedback.

Our KeyCare plans are designed to allow people with a lower income to pay lower contributions. The Scheme has the right to ensure that the members benefiting from these lower contributions do in fact qualify for the correct income band. It is at the Scheme's discretion to determine what is considered \satisfactory evidence\" to prove such income. This includes checking and/or verifying the income declared via regular audits and/or third party information which is done at the end of each year.
