First hospital experience was a nightmare

I am so disappointed in this medical aid scheme. I have been with them for 8 years and more through my employer. I hardly get sick only went to see a GP a few times and it's always flu normally get charged small amount, so last night I had to leave work due to a severe eye infection, my eyes were teary, red and swollen. I had to quickly go to the hospital for the first time in almost a decade. When I got to the hospital because I'm on Keycare plus there is a co-payment of R520.00 for casualties, which was not communicated to me before, to get to the hospital and being told they only pay 20% I pay 80% in that state I had to quickly hustle money to pay 80% of the bill that is less than my monthly premium. I understand they might have set those rules because people get into fights and drunk accidents and need medical attention during those times but I was brought by the company car on my uniform and sober, going to the hospital for the very first time then I have to pay R520 and you discovery only having to pay something around R200. I didn't expect that I will definitely switch.
