Extended chronic med supply : coronavirus

I am soon to travel to South America for 26 days and so completed the Discovery application form for a one month extended supply of my chronic medication. Discovery's response was that I had sufficient medication for the trip. I responded to them saying it was my concern that given the coronavirus outbreak I was worried that my travel plans could be disrupted and/or at some stage I could be placed in quarantine and so I wanted a thirty day supply as backup. In response I got a form letter declining my request. Discovery has obviously not adapted to the new environment that we live in. The mind boggles as to what may happen when the virus hits but this is not a good precursor
