Executive plan is not worth it.

I'm on Executive Plan, which is the highest on their medical aid. However, Discovery Health is refusing to pay for urine dipstick (R10.00). I chose this ridiculously expensive plan hoping that I will not struggle during my pregnancy, but unfortunately I still have to fight even though my MSA is seating at R111K and I have maternity benefit. They are also refusing to pay for the gel/lubricant (also R10.00) used with the ultrasound. They insist that this gel is for ******l use, which is VERY UNTRUE. This gel was used as a lubricant on my tummy. And their reason is that this item is NOT covered under my plan. So saddening!!! The latest feedback this morning is that they can only approve this item under the special payment request if the amount is R100.00 and above. Discovery Health is sickening!!! Terrible service.
