Excuses after excuses for non-payment

I have been with Discovery for a few years and never had a single problem, until I actually got sick. I have been diagnosed with something that is on the government gazette ito Prescribed Minimum Benefit cover and I have had to fight tooth and nail to get Discovery to pay anything. After fighting with them for literally months (April to about July/August) they finally paid part of one claim that was made in April, and even then they didn't pay it in full, for that provider, who then handed my account over leaving me to pay the remaining R700 odd myself. On top of that they have used my medical savings (which they are not allowed to use for PMB conditions) and have yet to refund me.

Every SINGLE time I call I have to be put on hold for 20 minutes while someone tries to figure out what is going on in my account, then I get fed all manner of excuses as to why things have not been paid (your PMB basket has been reached being one of those, which is amazing considering that this was the first claim put in for that doctor).

It seems like I am being given every excuse in the book to not pay. I am told I will receive a call with feedback and the only time I did receive feedback calls I was then told that she was no longer allowed to contact me directly I had to call into the call centre.

I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of service I have received from Discovery.

You called me and asked for statements which I have provided. You told me the account was paid when the statement clearly showed that it was not. And now you are ignoring my mails.
