Excessive delays in joining Discovery Health

Have been trying to join Discovery Health since the end of January. I moved jobs and could no longer be on the CAMAF medical aid (closed fund). I app**** through a recommended medical broker and was told it will take 3-6 days max, that there would be no waiting periods (as i am not willing changing med aids), etc.

It took them up to the 7th of Feb to come back to us with an offer. In this document there were all of the sudden waiting periods, late joiner penalty fees etc. All of this is not valid, but the brokers are now telling me that there is no way to engage with the under writers, that I should just accept things and move on. These conditions are not acceptable and i asked if there is anything i can do, which resulted in another admin night mare. No idea when things can be sorted out, broker is saying definitely not today.

It is now the 9th of Feb and I still dont have any cover and am freaking out.
