Excellent post birth service

On the 30th April 2016 I gave birth to a baby girl who had to be admitted into NICU. This was a very stressful but incredibly exciting time for my husband and I. My husband contacted Discovery on Tuesday 3rd may - a delayed contact due to weekend and public holiday. He was fortunate enough to speak with your consultant Urvasi Gangarame who totally exceeded our expectations of service. She was able to answer all our questions and then assist us in completing the necessary admission requirements. She then explained that additional info was needed to complete admission which we did not have readily available. So we requested we call her back specifically so as not to have to deal with a new person, but she explained there was no way to guarantee that- so she made the intentional effort to contact us three additional times to get the info needed- including over her lunch break and after hours. While we don't encourage crazy working hours - we were so appreciative of the additional effort she put in, for no personal gain, and over and above that her amazing way with us- being interested, supportive and encouraging towards us. We really hope you are able to reward her excellent service in some way. She should be your Discovery Health consultant ambassador and train all others (although we have had many great consultants on other occasions too!) Thank you thank you, Urvasi!
