Escalation needed. Emergencies cannot wait 3 to 5 working days

Unfortunately we have hit another snag with the surgeon motivating to have the surgery done at Kloof Hospital (non key care). A consultant has informed us telephonically that it would take 3-5 working days to review the the motivation. This is not acceptable, his is an emergency and the patient is in pain. Please, we need an escalation on this Please can someone contact me again regarding this as this has become a serious issue and we are trying to avoid simply going to a casualty as my mother has already visited specialists, an oncolgoist, has had scans done and been assessed for surgery.
