Endless excuses for a custom-made item

I find it somewhat appalling that a company that claims to be a "medical aid" will do their utmost to pay the absolute bare minimum of a claim for a custom-made item. An item which is medically required in order to assist helping a condition in a hope to avoid a surgery, however due to codes and other reasons, it seems Discovery would rather not pay for said brace but instead rather pay for the inevitable surgery on a 3yo. Not exactly how one would a expect a medical aid to assist with a condition that quite honestly no-one asked for but Discovery has no interest in trying to assist with the soaring costs. Certainly would not recommend Discovery as a medical aid to anyone.
