Empty promises

A call center agent called me this morning at 07.41 to want to chat to me about a query that I had logged. I asked the agent to call me back at 8.30am. No call received until 09.55.

At the end of the conversation I was promised a letter that would be e mailed to me within the hour.

It’s now 15.15 and I still haven’t received the correspondence that was promised to me.

If you can not commit to the basics, rather tell me that disappoint me twice in one day.

The agent called me from an 041 number and I’m sure the surname was Patterson.
