Emergency admission

My brother was vomitting and couldn't walk by himself so we went to the nearest hospital which was Netcare Mulbarton. When we got there they assisted us, after having to do multiple blood tests, which Discovery doesnt pay for, a brain scan which Discovery doesnt pay for, and when he needed to be admitted we were charged R9000!!!

Discovery, please explain how you justify charging R9000 for admission for an emergency just because it's not a network hospital!!!!! It was an emergency !!! My brother was vomiting, shaking and couldn't walk.

A warning to everyone considering going to Discovery, do yourselves a favor and look elsewhere. Discovery is just a money making scheme that couldn't give a damn about its members.
