Dr Connect and Day-to-day extender chaos

As per many other review similar to mine, I also need to pay for a visit to my GP after savings ran out. The day-to-day extender benefit has changed with very few people knowing about this. It is nearly impossible to connect to a GP on the app. The only doctor you may connect with is ones you've seen in 36 months, even if it is a dentist or gynecologist. You have NO personal choice as to which GP you would like to go/speak to. I've called Discovery numerous times, only to get different advice each time. Last suggestion was that I visit a NURSE who will then consult with THEIR GP of choice in a virtual consultation to assist me?! Can Discovery not allow patients to visit their own GP's with no "referral" from another GP? Doesn't make sense. What about people to can't access app or nurses?
