double payment for no cover

I called a few weeks ago, to advise that I have changed jobs and that I will be paying for the med aid in a private capacity, I sent en email also, and it took a week for response, I eventually managed to speak to a lady there and she said that I had 60 days, before they would cancel the medical aid all together, but in that time I would still have cover, which I dont have, they suspended it, i called vitality a few days ago and asked if It would be suspended also and if i would lose my membership for the gym benefit, and she said no, all will be well, within the the 30 days she said, my withdrawal date is end March, according to docs i downloaded, yesterday another lady told me, my cover is already suspended, and at the end of April I would have to pay for April and for May. I am not cover for April as confirmed by her, WHY MUST I PAY FOR APRIL??? im told i must pay in advance, so I can pay for May on the 1st, but I dont see why I must pay for April when I am not covered for that month, Ive been with Discovery for about 8 years, surely this is not how you people treat your loyal customers. WILL MY VITALITY ALSO BE SUSPENDED, COZ I COULD PAY THE R299.00 FOR VITALITY NOW.
