Dont phone the Covid 19 help line.
Late yesterday afternoon I received a message to report for vaccination at Discovery Place at 08h00 this morning. On arrival I was asked if I had had any contact with someone with Covid 19 in the past 14 days. I rep**** that I had and was told that I would not be permitted to enter the building.
I do understand the concern. My problem is that no-one has yet been able to tell me what happens from here onwards. Must I reregister and if so with whom? Who can I call. The staff at the building didn't know anything. I made the fatal mistake of contacting the call centre which is a total waste of time. The person responding had to go off an ask someone else for every single question I asked.
When I eventually asked for a supervisor I was told they were all in a meeting. Surely if Discovery insists on appointing people with no training they should at the very least ensure that a supervisor is available to assist. Her best suggestion was to tell me to phone in again so that I got through to another person. She eventually promised that she would ensure that the supervisor phoned me back. I knew it would never happen.
Please could someone tell me what to do from here onwards.
