Dont have medical aid now

Ive app**** for medical aid, after many back and forth e mails regarding incomplete docs. I finally did not hear back from discovery and had to phone to get confirmation of my application. I called and was told yes you will have medical aid from 1 Jan(I have cancelled my previous medical aid from 31 dec)<br> <br> I was pleased that I now got confirmation telephoniocally. I then phoned on the 2nd of Jan as I had no membership number in case of an emergency. To then be told you don't have an active med aid with us as yet due to incomplete forms????? But its the weekend so we cant assist you at all and you have to wait until Monday. So now I have to drive around without med aid and when I asked if I must just go to a government hospital the guy tells me yes because you don't have a medical aid...I think its unacceptable that NO ONE is able to assist me.My husband got a call to say theres a form discovery would like him to sign. He then said im on holiday I will only be able to do it in the new year to which the lady rep**** that's fine... NOT that we won have medical aid If the form is not filled in??? And I went in to his office now and no forms were sent to him.
